Of all the great songs in the world, this one is the last song I'd ever want to play to anyone.
God be with you, Joy. Just imagine this: your Itay's coming home.
FLY Jars of Clay
be still let your hand melt into mine the part of me that breathes when you breathe is losing time i can't find the words to say i'll never say goodbye
and i'll fly with you through the night so you know i'm not letting go i'm not letting go my tears like rain fill up the sky oh, my love, i'm not letting go i won't let you go
i saw the host of silent angels waiting on their own knowing that all the promises of faith come alive when you see home hold still and let your hand melt into mine
and i'll fly with you through the night so you know i'm not letting go i'm not letting go my tears like rain fill up the sky oh, my love, i'm not letting go i won't let you go
shed your heart and your breath and your pain and fly
now you're alive now you're alive now you're alive now you're alive
i won't let you go i'm not letting go i won't let you go i'm not letting go i won't let you go | Fly (Original AC Radio Remix) | | The Number Ones | | Jars Of Clay | |
Multi-platinum and three-time GRAMMY-winning band, Jars of Clay, is set to release their highly-anticipated seventh studio project, Good Monsters, on September 5th.

Personally, I can't contain my excitement. Though I was a latebloomer fan, I'm proud to say that I've caught up fairly well. Jars of Clay wasn't the first Christian Rock Band that I've come to love, it was actually DC Talk. The only JOC songs I knew then were those which received airplay.
Watching the Jars of Clay Live in Manila concert in Araneta spelled the difference. My heart could hardly contain the joy. Though I wasn't a full-time follower of the band back then, I was awestruck by their perfomance. The way the audience responded to their music was so overwhelming, I was so close to crying. When I got home that night, I had been transformed.
Through a friend of a friend, I was able to join this online community of local Jars of Clay fans. Named after JOC's 5th album, the group Who We Are Instead had become a vital part of my existence. From being "just fans" they've become my brothers and sisters. My life was a little better (but better nonetheless) because of them.
No need to ask me now, who's my favorite band. It's simple and obvious. As my faith is central to my being, so is Jars of Clay's music to my soul. They've inspired me beyond imagination. They've made me cry. They've humbled me and lifted me up. They've made me want to sing praises all waking hours of the day.

So what am I expecting from Good Monsters? Only the best, from the best. I'm sure I'll love this album, as I've come to love all their past produce. These guys haven't failed me yet, you know.
yeap, you heard right. I'm a Christian and mighty proud of it. I'm not a typical one though. Ahh.. no explanations here. Hope you'd give these songs a try.
